Ayodeji is target driven and result oriented, and as a Senior Associate of the Firm, Ayodeji is well known to Clients for his methodical analysis and passion for problem solving. He started his career at the Corporate Affairs Commission Headquarters in Abuja and has since moved to build expertise in corporate, commercial and investment laws.
Ayodeji holds a Law Degree (LL.B) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, he is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a licenced Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria.
Damilola Shobiye focuses her expertise on supporting business development, through the infusion of workable models, strategies and legal skills. As a senior Consultant in the Firm, Damilola leads the business, corporate and commercial practice. Damilola holds a Master’s Degree (LL.M) in International Contracting from Glasgow Caledonian University, United Kingdom, where she finished top of her class as the best graduating student and her final thesis was awarded the best LL.M dissertation.
Damilola commenced her legal career at the Legal Department of Addax Petroleum, after which she moved on to join one of the leading commercial law Firms in Nigeria as a member of the Banking/Finance team, where she handled high profile financial transactions. Damilola later worked as an in-house Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at a British Affiliated educational institution in Nigeria. Damilola is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and licenced to practice as Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria.
Mitchell Awah is a member of the Firm’s Business, Corporate and Commercial Practice, as a Senior Associate. Mitchell has risen through the ranks, through utmost dedication and developing of expertise in Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, Immigrations and Business Advisory. She is a strong team player with valuable contributions in high profile transactions involving corporate recapitalisation and restructuring, commercial contracts, intellectual property registrations and protection, expatriates’ immigration permits and regulatory compliances.
Mitchell holds a Law Degree (LL.B) with a Second Class (Upper) Division, she is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, and a licenced Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria. In addition, Mitchell is a qualified Chartered Secretary and Administrator awarded by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
Peter Shobiye is well known as a creative problem solver and futurist with knowledge of both local and international laws. As Lead Consultant of the Firm, Peter brings out the best in his team members with a clear focus on creatively solving the business and commercial needs of the Firm’s Clients and associated interests.
Peter has continued to set recognisable pace in matters of commercial law in Nigeria, he is an expert in intellectual property rights, he advises and provides legal guidance on foreign direct investments, business planning, real estate, construction and infrastructure, project financing, corporate recapitalisation and restructuring. Peter has represented many global companies in various transborder commercial transactions, due diligence, project negotiations, and stands out as lead advocate in various Courts.
Peter holds a Master’s Degree (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, he is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a licenced Barrister and Solicitor. Peter has graced various local and international platforms as a discussant on business and commercial issues.
